An engineer based in Melbourne, Australia, working through Digital Dimensions in embedded systems and remote monitoring. Digital Dimensions has designed and built every Waves In Ice buoy since the original 2012 array, and WII6 is the sixth.

What to talk about

• A deployment. The site, the season, how many buoys, how they go in and whether they come out. We will explain the current development schedule and the options for your deployment.
• A look at the console. console.wii6.au holds every deployment since 2016. Ask and we will set up a demo account showing a handful of example buoys.
• A buoy on your bench. For a lab that wants to run its own captures, compare the maths with its own, or integrate a sensor.
• The maths. Bands, bins, direction, the replay, and what your analysis needs from the record.
• Data. Getting your project’s store, working with the formats, or bringing earlier WII data into the same layout.
